I used these in my street lamps, we have no street lighting on our residential street. My apartment requires quite a bright light to make it seem not dark, and we were using a regular 300 w bulb that would burn out in just a couple months.

Excellent replacement for 3-way incandescent bulbs. The bulb fit right into my bedside 3- way lamp.

Buyer beware this is an inferior product. There seems to be a defective bath judging by the other comments about super early failures.

The bulb gets hot and the solder on the circuit bords start to crack or melt.

I was impressed with the brightness of the light but disappointed with the life of this bulb. Seemed very bright when first installed but after a day or two seemed to be pretty dim.

The bulbs work as advertised, but there is a slight lag (< 1s) between when you hit the switch and when the light comes on. These bulbs help me improve our home's energy efficiency and the quality of light in our finished basement.

All of our amazon lightbulbs flicker and eventually go on and off. There is a short delay between turning on the switch and the light coming on. Either they start buzzing, the light goes out completely, flickers, or fades to nothing.
