This bulb puts out a lot more light than the halogen bulb that was replaced. Thankfully the fixture we are using it in is opaque and spreads the light well enough.
Great light bulb with no flickering effect when turned on. Fewer fixtures means higher wattage.
It's brighter everywhere in church. I prefer the 4000k white over both the sickly-yellow warm white bulbs and the 5500k+ daylight, which to my eye are bluer than actual daylight.
These are the worst bulbs that i have ever had the misfortune of acquiring. Buyer beware. They advertise being rated at 25,000 hours.
Both bulbs are loud, with an audible 60 hertz zzzzzz. It’s either 100%, flickering, or i gotta really fuss with the dimmer to get it correct.
