The gold is a strange orangey color that doesn't match any other gold fixtures i have (or have even seen) no way would the provided hardware work. The edges of the mirror are significantly deeper than the mounting brackets.

The wood is beautiful, the craftsmanship is superb, even the back and the stand are wood. My fiancé is a wood-worker, and he was impressed by the quality. I like that the frame is thinner than most wood mirrors.

Bottom-right corner sits a couple centimeters away from the wall, causing the mirror to distort. Bottom-left, top-left and top-right corners all sit flush against the wall.
