The flat electric plug means i can plug the power strip in behind the dresser and not worry about damaging the plug. Used this to run under my rug and couch to have power between my couch and love seat for laptops, phones, ipads and a lamp.

The tripp lite surge protector power strip is absolutely the best for all your electronic needs. I use it exclusively for my amp which draws 30 amps. While this is model is injection-molded plastic, it is as substantial as their aluminum boxes.

Always been impressed with their quality. They are reliable so far. This has a ton of outlets. Very pleased with the purchase.

The unit is fed by a substantial 8 ft cord terminated with a low profile right angle plug.

During a thunderstorm one of the items plugged into this power strip was zapped and no longer functions. It's likely i simply received a defective unit based on the many positive reviews. Very scary fire hazard.
