The roku device can use an outlet or usb port. It also makes it possible for me to not carry multiple adapters, as this has direct usb plugins. Used to replace a much larger power strip and additional usb charger.

This device isn't ul certified, which doesn't inspire confidence. The usb ports are severely underpowered. Complaints from my device of insufficient charging power.

Bought to use in a room the only had 2 plugins. Loaded up the strip with crock pots. Fits perfectly in certain areas of my home.
