The roku device can use an outlet or usb port. It also makes it possible for me to not carry multiple adapters, as this has direct usb plugins. Used to replace a much larger power strip and additional usb charger.

This device isn't ul certified, which doesn't inspire confidence. The usb ports are severely underpowered. Complaints from my device of insufficient charging power.

Easy to set up with alexa. No problem connecting through a couple of walls to my range extender. App is extendable and easy to understand.

One on them has been rained on and still going strong. It saves us the hassle of going outside to turn off the lights before bedtime. Simple to setup and placed in my garage for the holiday season for christmas lights.

Surge protector is dangerous to use in the rain. Probably not alexa integrated. Looks like it's just money down the drain.
