The roku device can use an outlet or usb port. It also makes it possible for me to not carry multiple adapters, as this has direct usb plugins. Used to replace a much larger power strip and additional usb charger.

This device isn't ul certified, which doesn't inspire confidence. The usb ports are severely underpowered. Complaints from my device of insufficient charging power.

Usb charging is a must. It's great for my laptop and for my phone and tablet to charge them.

The power strip plugs directly into the mains socket. The hdmi sockets eliminates the need for the adapters. The only thing is there’s a light and it annoys me at night. This plug has all the adapters i need!
