The bulb fittings are all grip-rubber so moisture isn't a problem. The switch looks to be waterproof as well. My suggestion here is to put all the bulbs in snug and turn the switch on.

The light works, and my herbs are definitely growing under the light, but the timer doesn't work right. No need to unplug/re-plug.

The light is rather flimsy and flops around. This poke is too long for smaller pots, 12 pots it fits but keeps falling over.
