They don't feel cheap at all, are super bright, lightweight, and work perfectly. Spectrum a (for seed/blooming) is a nice 3500k white. My african violet and purple shamrock look pretty happy so far.

I believe the driver over heated and burned out. Not only is this light ruining my second grow, it is costly enough that it isn't worth buying a new one for every or every other grow.
