See pictured our 47lb shepherd mix for size scale. It is cool to the touch, very satiny so keep in mind it may be a little slippery to stand up on. My norwegian elkhound is quite furry and likes to sleep in my bed.

Blanket is as thin as a sheet and is not soft at all. Camping mattress necessitates manufacturer’s listed measurements. It barely fits over the edges of my son's full size bed.
