The display's brightness is adjustable and the alarm works in a manner that it starts off at a very low volume. Having an adjustable dimmer is a big plus.
My only quibble is the snooze/radio dial, which is plastic. But, it works now, so it's a minor quibble. One less clock to reset.
Radio works well and has a good sensitivity for picking up channels. I live in a very rural setting where radio is spotty at best. It's a little cheaply made but worth the cost.

The radio alarm sound starts low and increases to the set volume. I love that it ramps the volume on alarm, so you are not startled awake.
Nice sized numbers, dimmable. Easily read from oblique angles. The numbers are plenty large, so i'm glad i got the small. Glasses are always nearby.
I'm a light sleeper and needed a clock that had a very dimmable light at night. The feature that i love is the brightness control! I find this particular feature to be very unique and invaluable to my ability to sleep!

The clock looks nice and functions great except for the fact it loses a minute every week. I have no idea what the deal is with this clock but it keeps malfunctioning and glitching.
