Purchased for great-granddaughter's first birthday. This is actually very sturdy and it looks nice. Bought this for my one year old grandson for christmas.

This shelf is absolutely adorable. Great for small-medium height books, but we've got several kids books that don't fit upright. This fits perfectly under his window.

Just go to ikea and save yourself the trouble. It was poorly made & snapped in half easily. It is not sturdy.
