Photos show the reducer coupler i used to go from shop vac to saw. The blade needed to be tweaked to squared up but was super close right out of the box.

The blade guard plastic is thinner & flimsy. Tried locktite, tried replacing the bolt, using different blades etc. Other big box brand saws are better than this.

This newer model has a lot of improvements and i swear it cuts so much better too. Biggest safety improvement is the saw's blade activation switch. Love this chop box great value and one tough tool.

Works great and came already well-calibrated. The saw is well packed and i checked it for true 90 degrees. It's very accurate, light weight and you can easily add side extensions, if you're at all handy.

The blade guard screw came so tight from the factory that i cannot get it loose. Even screw extractors won't get the thing to budge at all. Service center is a joke.
