Pros and Cons

Pros4

Very nice, built well, and quickly releases your camera. My only complaint - albeit very small. I highly recommend the cotton carrier over the competition.

No shoulder burn, no nervousness of “bumping” my hip, no taking off the backpack to pull out the camera then place it back in. Makes it easy to hike or walk with the camera where otheriwse your arms would be super tired, or the camera would be bumping...  Read More

Both my cameras have a telephoto lens attached. Easy to switch from handheld use to tripod or monopod use. The only downside is large telephoto lenses are still heavy!

Good vest, but over priced. Can be adjusted to fit a woman's torso perfectly with the camera secured in the center of the chest. The additional strap to keep the camera from swinging as you walk is probably the best feature of the vest.

Cons2

The strap to keep the harness secured around my upper body was missing. Returning soon, in search for a more sturdy, reliable product.

This thing looks and feels ridiculously small on me. It is also uncomfortable to wear, and getting in and out of it (for me) is almost comical" the man and woman pictured in the ad are obviously on the small side.

Pros4

Easy to install n seems promising for its quality. Only thing i don't like is the extra hassle to unclip the camera, but i guess that's personal preference!

Blackrapid curve breathe camera strap (sling style) is a perfect, well-thought out heavy duty strap. Allows you to use your canon eos 1-dx body / 28-300mm lens combo with confidence and ease.

It's sturdier and better made. The strap under the arm pit is a life saver. I like the fact that i can lock the camera off to the side so it won’t flop around.

The underarm strap always points outboard or away from your body to the side. About the only thing i don't care about is the strap that goes under the arm near the armpit, it's a bit awkward to get on and off.

Cons1

The new version has a major flaw. The protector is probably the least critical part of the strap. They have zero customer service.
