It takes up no floor space and it’s so easily a great space saver. It is able for small tidy spaces, and is very neat and easily folds up.
I wish it came with more hanger holding slats though. If you are mounting this in drywall make sure to have better wall anchors than what comes with thr unit. The drywall anchors my local lowe’s had claimed to hold up to 265 lbs each.
The quality is indisputably good. It's a pleasure to use it, and so much better than plastic or fake wood laminate on fiberboards.
Some rods are too tight, others too loose and yet i can't rectify either with their spanner tool. But some of the powder coating was scratched off too. Impossible and strange installation.
The metal seems acceptably sturdy; certainly better than the wooden dowel rod racks that seem destined for the garbage the day you buy them. It’s more bulky than i thought, but it folds up and stores easily.
Each rod is large enough to hang 2 garments on and spaced out so the clothes dry quickly and aren’t on top of each other. It is great for drying delicates. The whitmore is made by clothe.
Even with 2 missing screws is sturdy enough. Pretty easy to assemble. Need a screw driver for assembly. By far this is the most sturdy and efficient.
These 4 rotate like they're on bearing! Place the 2nd end frame, chain up, on top of the rods. Screw in the 8 threaded rods on one side tight.
They sell this junk for 40 bucks or more and make * fine profit.
Whitmor and the chinese have not mastered the art of making parts line up for assembly. Some pieces were preassembled, incorrectly. Like this probably costs a china factory a buck to box up. Usd just to assemble this rack.
