It's fun and great to add to a collection of retro games. One of my favorites. Nice xmas gift. Great for gifting too.
The pieces are dovetailed nicely. If one wasn't careful they could definitely get a splinter playing with this set. The game is very soothing and relaxing.
The game board is made well, though there are a few rough spots within a number of the divots on the game board. The engraved details on the top and sides of the board are beautiful. Overall, a decent mancala board game with a few minor gripes.
Stones scatter everywhere. Individual spots are just too small and they start to overflow easily. It is very hard to even get the fingers in a slot to lift the stones out.
As someone who has taught 3d printing to kids, and robotics coaching, to call this a stem toy is just not polite.
It's a great pick for any casual social gathering, though it might make time slip away faster than you'd expect! I definitely recommend for family game night and it would make a great gift. Our whole family loves it!
There's plenty of prompt cards and plenty of replay value. The topics are great and the pressure of the 5 seconds adds to the tension.
Game doesn't require a lot of instruction-reading or know how. It's really easy to play and sets up quickly. Set up is quick.
The baton is arguably an improvement versus the twisted timer. Comes with a travel case that holds the cards and the baton timer. Battery cover requires a standard phillips screwdriver.
