Mancala is an easy game for almost anyone to learn. It reinforces concepts of counting, math, strategy, and tactics. It's still playable but it's a little frustrating because they could so easily have made the pits a little deeper.
My only annoyance is that some of the pretty “gemstones” are too large for the slots. I also wish the stones came in a sturdier permanent holder too.
The box was terribly damaged. The product was also damaged.
Game is very fun and exciting! Much laughter at some of the answers lol. Rules are established early on so people know how many of a certain item they are calling out. It isn't as easy as you may think being a jr.
My family loves 5 second rule and we play it often. Now my 6 year old granddaughter likes to play with us. My family are board gamers. My 6 yearold was riveted on this.
The timer makes a squeaky noise (intentionally) plus the balls rolling is loud. How can a game called 5 second rule have a timer that at most was 3. We deserve the five full seconds to answer.
