They are cleverly designed to grip hold of the fence tightly where you need them, or turned 90 degrees they allow the fence some lateral movement. Used it to add barb wire to my fencing.
The time you save is totally worth the price of shipping. They are crazy expensive, but it is a large quantity, which i will probably use over the next 5 years. These have a very high rating for a reason.

These are quick and easy to install and reusable. The claws are great the self taping screws are junk!
The cat claw is a great concept the biggest issue is the style of screw that comes with it. That screw is meant for steel siding not for gripping into wood.
This gun is long overdue. The trigger is not a gimmick. This is a game changer for us doing low voltage/datacom.
It makes it much less clumsy and awkward to shoot the staple. I particularly like the trigger function, it avoids movement when stapling in awkward positions.
