The perforated one does wonders to the crust of a frozen pizza, making it crisp but not tough. Very thick coating and very well made.

Sturdy and quite heavy. The 1/4 thick 14x14 steel weighs nearly 3 times @~11# versus than similar sized pizza stone @~4#.
Stone appears to distribute heat and crisp crusts better than ceramic stones, and corderite stones. It heats evenly and makes the pizza great and isn't too hard to clean.
Do not even think of using finger hook.
