Two layers of non-woven fabrics are added inside to improve warmth. Gets very comfortably warm even at the lowest setting. Cold water isn't as bad if your bathroom is already nice and toasty. Plus, it's big enough to share the warmth!
It can also be used as a normal blanket by detaching the controller. This heating blanket is phenomenal.
Chinese cheap junk. Cannot recommend thisproduct in good conscience. Apparently the quality for these sherpa ones aren't up to par.

Lasted 3 mos then flashed red only, unable to fix. This has a 2 hour timer, not a 4 hour timer as listed. Shuts off on its own after 10 minutes.
The weave is flat and not snag prone. The quality is good but it would probably snag if animals were allowed on it. This blanket is very soft and luxurious.
Don't be swayed by some of the negative reviews. Love the color. Worth every penny. You won't be disappointed.
Washed and dried nicely, no pilling. Very little lint left in the washer or dryer. Easy to launder.
Awful quality of stitching and/or type of thread. I'm not a sewing or fabric specialist but i have to assume this is a quality issue.
