Two layers of non-woven fabrics are added inside to improve warmth. Gets very comfortably warm even at the lowest setting. Cold water isn't as bad if your bathroom is already nice and toasty. Plus, it's big enough to share the warmth!
It can also be used as a normal blanket by detaching the controller. This heating blanket is phenomenal.

Lasted 3 mos then flashed red only, unable to fix. This has a 2 hour timer, not a 4 hour timer as listed. Shuts off on its own after 10 minutes.
It's very warm. Its light, breathable and keeps you warm. By folding one in half and inserting it into the sleeping bag ensures a warm back.
Washed, hung on clothesline to dry, rewashed and rehung outside for a week. Wash it on by itself on gentle cycle dampen the odor.
