This retractable air hose reel looks good, but it is not a good retractable reel. It is frustrating. Made of cheap plastic.

The tensioner keeps the reel from freewheeling. The * reel looks beefy and well constructed. All of my other supplies for this install were purchased directly from obsessed garage and/or mtm.

The machining is perfect and all parts matted to minimal tolerances. This thing is sturdy and very well made. Also the handles are great.

The swivel is not machined properly. It's loose and wobbly. This reel is functional but seems to fight back.

The box is printed fragile but the manufacturer decided to use just one large piece of paper as packing material. After 1. Wasted time repackaging and returning quite heavy and bulky item every time. Just a refund.

It's unusable the way it is. Its only gotten worse. What a shame.
