The bottom of the pot had a very nice curved shape to it which contours nicely to spoons. While it's a matter of taste, i prefer the stainless steel lid that came with this pot.
For $100 each, you should expect a pot with a high enough quality coating to last longer than a year. The handles are super smooth, so it's also next to impossible to grab with a towel or a heat-proof glove.
Even though they don't have a strainer on the lid, it is quite easy to drain it with the lid on and just leaving a small slit for the water to go thru. They look good and heat evenly, and are easy to clean. Very durable and easy to cook with.
These nonstick pots are more sturdy than the generic bargain ones that walmart might sell. The color is as pictured.
The handle is too heavy and the pan tends to tilt if what you are cooking is not heavy enough to stabilize it. If i pour something into the boiling water, it takes a really long time to return back to a boil and it doubles the cook time.
It’s very annoying. I’m disappointed and can’t use. Useless to me.
The rivets for the handle are apparently not water-tight. Metal attaching the handle looks old. Turned color in handles when placed in dishwasher.
