This blanket is a bargain and it’s 100% cotton. Added a little flare to the bed. This fits the bill.

Decent weave, open enough to not overheat. Needs a couple washes with fabric softener to get soft. Only drawback is my cat’s claws have a tendency snag on it.

Don't get me wrong, it is lightweight and feels silky, but the cooling effect just wasn't there. This blanket has 2 layers that always make it look wrinkled when it is laying flat.
