Bought this phone specifically hoping for water & bomb-proof construction and huge battery. One thing i would change is the charging.

It's simple and doesn't have all that fluff that he doesn't need. Easy to set up and use with the budget friendly mint mobile service.

With an existing tmobile prepaid plan. Went to the tmobile store and changed her old full sized sim card, for a nano sim and installed into this. It’s nice that she can charge it by just setting it in the cradle.

My menu has tools settings & alarms because i always use my phone as an alarm clock. This is exactly what i was looking for; a cell phone with talk and no inter-bleeping-net.

When it's fully charged, it emits 3 (pleasant sounding) chimes. The docking station is small enough to comfortably place in a corner. It holds the phone securely while it charges.
