It is not soft crocheted. I believe it’s a scratchy material punched out to look like it's crochetted.

The short, puffed sleeves are hollowed out and so pretty. The ruffle edge lays nicely and doesn't look silly. I did miss that it said cropped in the description, so that's my fault.

Runs small and the sleeves are very puffy.
