Have not had to judge for waterproof. No qualms about quality. They love it and it’s so helpful to be able to pull it off when company comes over.

Blanket is very thin and not weatherproof, much less waterproof. I have a 16 year old dog that’s going senile (incontinent and forgets the rules of no peeing in house) and this blanket is not waterproof.

Soft and cuddly. Very soothing and washes well, too. She insists on taking it everywhere.
