The old sensors were supposedly rebuilt, then put in the new wheels. These are metal stem ones, as pictured. Stuck these in the old wheels (for winter), programmed them and once on the car proceeded with the relearning.

Before installing in the wheels, always do a mock programming first to see if any are bad. Stand up seller for sure. Scanning into system, prior to installation, is recommended for operational assurance.
Replaced it at dealership another $130. I see no way to warranty these 2 defective sensors?
Life expectancy of there battery is 10 years! No signal. After 24hrs they fail to register. After awhile, usually about a day, they drop from being recognized by my car's computer and i get the ole service tire monitor alert.
