Arches is the best watercolor paper that is hard to find in stores. It is pricier than other brands but worth it. This is my favorite brand overall.

Watercolor pad is very thick with a nice texture. The backing is sturdy and will help keep the block flat and square.
I really like this pad because it doesn't warp like student pads when you use a lot of water. It buckles a little bit but that is something easy to correct.
The paper i received has a definite beige cast. This paper breaks down after only a few brush strokes. I am so disappointed in this paper.
