Flat surface gives me great footing climbing up into/ out of my truck (a beast). The instructions leave a bit to be desired but it's not rocket science.
The driver's front uses a 2 hole brace. All the other 5 brackets use the three hold brackets. The bolt/plates are held in place by the clear washers until the bracket is bolted into place.

This is a shame, since it is cosmetically a nice product. Not worth the hassle to take them off, repackage and send back. The directions are in faint, tiny print and useless.

Fit perfectly as advertised. Only complaint is the hardware is shiny like chrome.
Value for the money is unbeatable. It flex's the step when somebody uses it, otherwise they are very sturdy. I think if they would shorten the bracket, it would help with the sturdiness of the steps as well.
Instructions are not good! Worked great for four months. Don’t look good.
