This product speed up new aquarium cycling. This adds the beneficial bacteria rather than putting the conversion of their poop (nitrates) into bb “nitrates”. Works with everything from mudskippers to cherry shrimp.
I use a 330 gallon ibc tote for my water changes with 3 air stones and a 1200watt heater to maintain 77 degrees. It is pricey, but worth saving your precious fishies!

If your nitrifying bacteria aren't in a bottle/pouch that needs to be refrigerated, they're probably just worthless dead bacteria. However my nitrite levels remain out of control.
The only drawback if you can call it that is you need a spoon to measure. It works great, and we were just hit with fallout from the chernobyl choo choo. Our water in the apt.
