When extended, it's the width of a small dining table. It's big enough to lay two or three sweaters flat across the top. There's ample space for everything.
Air drying is both better for clothes and more environmentally friendly. The mesh shelf on bottom is perfect for drying delicate sweaters.
This rack is basically a deluxe model since it comes with everything you'd want. It's well-built, sturdy, and cheaper than what's available from third-party sellers.
The clothes drying rack is for the most part unusable now. It is not fixable. At least it is very light weight and folds up nicely.

Bought these for hanging wet mittens and socks to dry. They have a firm grip - much firmer than most clothespin.
If it's heavier then a wash rag or sock then the item slides right out of the hooks. It was built incorrectly.
