Waking up to music is so much nicer than noises. The one downside is the length of the power cable, which is actually a usb-usb-c phone charger rig.
This clock retains proper time after being unplugged. The only drawback would be if an extended power outage occurred, there's no way to replace the backup battery.
The projection works perfectly, and i can see the time even when napping during the day. The soft glow also provides some illumination to walk about without turning on lights.
Don’t buy from this seller. Can't recommend. Returned the clock but never received a refund.
Apparently this thing scans the airwaves and saves 30 fm stations. Radio & sound effects are pitiful sounding. Also, the speakers are very poor.
There is no way to turn the thing off except when it buzzes. Only job of a projection clock is to project correctly. Projector is pretty dim.
The battery backup operates the alarm even during a power failure. One less plug in needed. Plugged it in last night, easy to set time (no reverse) but had to get up to unplug it.
The numbers are bright for nighttime if you sleep in the room with it. Usb on the front helps the cord not fall behind bedside table as much. Would be better with dimmer but not rally a problem.
Third night after resetting no alarm again. The batteries only lasted 4 days.
Display is clear, easy to set, but absolutely terrible as a functioning alarm. Low volume setting is so loud that it startles me awake with such an unpleasant jolt every time. Sharp is a good company, for electronics that don't wake you up.
