Sturdy, it locks into place. Great product for my needs. Not to blame the manufacturer.

The first hole has a small profusion that keeps the hook from sliding. This bracket is not only 18 inches out, but it swivels for easy refilling. I like the way it looks, how the feeder hangs nicely.

There has been no sign of the hanger bending or the screws being pulled out of our tree. Drilled into house siding and is very sturdy.

Buyer beware…looks cute but not doesn't hold up. The upper screw hole is blocked by the wire design. The only way to install the screw is to put it in at an angle or use an offset screwdriver.
