Had this light set on 6000k (daylight) really brightened up the entry way. There are three settings for brightness (3000k warm white, 4500k neutral white, and 6000k cold white), that are selected with a slide switch.
This is definitely adequate for a 10 x 12 room. I'm use to big canopy lights or the ornate types, that are heavy and bulky. The casing and housing are all plastic, so any rusting from humid conditions isn't present.
With its fire-retardant shell, ip44 water- and dust-resistant construction, and etl/ce approval, safety is their main priority. Only negative is that the fixture doesn't seat flush or close to the ceiling.
They are not very bright as advertised. The brightness is about the inside light of a car (not led lightbulb) do not buy these lights under nay circumstances.
The room is approximately 20’ x 15’ and it brightens it all elaborately. They are bright at the highest brightness, when dimmed, it's still kind of bright.
Very easy to put together and install.
The remote control is little overdone, little complicated. The onlything i would change is if it had one more option to dim more in the different color options.
Drywall. I almost guarantee these bolts would not hold the drywall securely for any prolonged period of time" "it only remembers the last setting using the remote control only, *!
This is an extremely bright down light. Would have been 10x better if it were instead pointed up towards ceiling for softer illumination. The instructions are horrific.
Spent $125 for some that was used very little and has already died. Do not recommend.
