The mounting plate is easy to install into an old light fixture. The holes for its bracket line up with your regular ceiling fixture. You can also wire it to a plug and use an outlet.

Easy to install. All molly bolts and screws are included. Installation differs a little depending on whether a junction box is used. Small round box that screws to the existing ceiling screws.

Their base is plastic which flexes and easily slips off the screw heads. They start to flicker for a couple days and then nothing.
