The color is grayish/ lavender, not white. It's thick but it's powdery.

The quality of the paper and how much you get in this notebook is great. Doesn't leak through either. A true beginner to watercolor painting.

The pad isn't attached to the cover. While it's still usable, i expect much better for this price point. I have no idea how the yt users paint on this stuff.
