For us the main use is for plugging our laptop chargers in. One thing i recently realized is that i've been plugging this into a cigarette plug with a 15 amp fuse.
The remote with backlit keys is great. Keys are lit up to become very visible in the dark.
The remote was packaged well and easy to program. It connects very easy, plug and play. Would buy again.
Worked like a charm right out of the packaging. Worked as promised.
Tried it on my brand new 65 samsung, didn't work. Even tried the emerson flat screen in guest room and still nada. Pass on this remote and buy something else compatible.
Light up switch is so small and ridged your finger slides off of it. One-handed operation for button depress is awkward at best.
