It's a great size for semi-professional photographers.

They are quite sturdy and solidly made. They feel almost like a piece of firm, compressed wood. They're just under a quarter of an inch thick each, hefty and solid.

Pockets for the rode are 2 inches so they fit tightly. I love this curtains, they are wrinkle free, easy to use. Not too sheer but also not too thick.
