The hinges match my matte black kwickset knobs i bought perfectly. Mount the hinge to the jam first, tap the pin out from the bottom, install the second half of the hinge on the door.
The quality of these hinges is extremely poor. Very inexpensive but so poorly made. Only sent enough screws for half of the hinges. The whole thing needs removed at the screws which obviously wears the screw holes with each removal and reinsertion.
One screw holds the soft door closer in place near the hinge. Add 2 for heavy cupboard doors. Our kitchen is a thousand times quieter than before these were installed. No more slamming cabinet doors.
Angle is correct if the chuck head rubs against the top of the cabinet opening when you finish drilling. Wrapped a masking tape around the bit to know when to stop drilling. Just need to hold it squarely in place before starting the screw.
It is not nickel chrome but plastic and flimsy plastic. Yes, it is adjustable but it did not adjust enough to let my cabinets close. When i put them on, even trying to drill a pilot hole, some of them laid flat and some wouldn't.
