Using the 20db pad for running a bass head's line out into a mic input on the mixer.
The original ear pads are quite hot. Replacing the earcups is as easy as opening a jar of peanut butter.

This is the first time i've ever actually felt compelled to write a review of a product. Do your research before purchasing this headset. Not for westerners.
The virtuoso fails to keep connection while in wireless mode. The headphones or usb receiver either have a bad chip or the firmware is poorly coded. Corsair's customer service is nonexistent.
The batter life is great but if your headset dips below like 50% you start getting a low batter beep every other minute. After being plugged in to a full charge after an hour, the wireless has an audible beep to tell you it's nearly dead within 2 hour... Read More
