It's a lot lighter in weight and flatter than the old fluorescent fixture. It's in our laundry room in the basement and does a good job. Very even, diffuse lighting, excellent as low-glare task lighting.

For other products, usually two fasteners are required on both ends to support the weight. Mounts to the existing standard junction box plus four screws to stabilize the oversized mounting plate.

Light is not flat and is severely warped in one corner. Not easy to install as claimed. My application requires a warmer color temperature so i will either return the light or find another use for it.

Don't be fooled by the price, these look like the on trend, $200 lights and are great quality. Finally decided to get rid of the old, dated * light fixture. A nice design with a mid grade appearance.

Easy to install with the right tools and completely transformed our space to modernize the room. Installing the fixture in my hallway was a huge pain but only because of how my ceiling box is configured. Hired an electrician to install it.

Glass cover has wide opening that hand can fit through to allow for changing lightbulb. Bright enough for hallways and laundry room/pantry. Will likely get edison bulbs.

The style in person is even more farmhouse looking than i thought which is not my current style. The wiring is bad.
