They absolutely do the job. They make chair movements quieter. Seem to conform to different style leg ends and stay on securely.
Very sturdy. Replaced on all my dining chairs. Overall good, not great.
Be sure to drill a small hole with a diameter smaller than the nail first to avoid splitting the wood leg. I typically just add a round felt sticky pad to make the chairs quieter.
Box only contains 39. Thin gauge nails result in bending when hammered into chair legs. Also the nail has a tendency to break off from the plastic backing. Broken x-protector after trying to simply hammer it into the bottom of a chair leg.
