The light mounts on a flat bracket similar to what is used to mount smoke detectors. It is super light and the leads are generous enough to connect easily. The color and brightness is great and turns on instantly.

This light throws a nice amount of light in all directions and diffuses it very effectively. The individual leds are not obvious like many other the diffusion on this is superior. I replace a larger flush mount light that ruined my paint a bit.

Glass globes are all different sizes and did not fit when attempting to put over light bulb. Go to home depot or lowes or order directly from those stores.
