These lights have a slimmer profile which i actually prefer. Can set to any of three temperatures and can control brightness with a dimmer switch. This is a 5 minute install once you've removed your old fixture.

It's a lot lighter in weight and flatter than the old fluorescent fixture. It's in our laundry room in the basement and does a good job. Very even, diffuse lighting, excellent as low-glare task lighting.

For other products, usually two fasteners are required on both ends to support the weight. Mounts to the existing standard junction box plus four screws to stabilize the oversized mounting plate.

Light is not flat and is severely warped in one corner. Not easy to install as claimed. My application requires a warmer color temperature so i will either return the light or find another use for it.
