This works only as an electrical outlet multiplier. There is not any nail or screw that can catch in the slots.

The cord is the one that exactly fit my needs. It is durable. Plus, it's very pleasant as a piece of decoration on the table.

Love the cord and plug and especially the layout and spacing of the sockets. It goes off to the side steering clear of the plug below altogether. It's closer to our beds than using the wall outlet.
