Installed as expected, with a clockwise twist until firm and snug in the socket. Much dimmer and easier on the eyes. The brighter one is on my side of the bed so i can see while getting ready.

They are dim enough to keep the night mood, but bright enough to illuminate a room. The yellow light is strange but it works great if you want to disturb your partner less when waking at different times. Used as a nighttime stairway light.

Buyer beware. Expected a dim warm glow. Looks very yellow. If you’re looking for a soft light for a lamp this is not it.
