The bottom of the shade has some imperfections like the glue clumped up but it's pretty minor. Purchased 2 of these lights to go in my 100 year little cottage bedrooms.

The shade is flimsy, wrinkly plastic with encapsulated fabric. The box and fixture was sent damaged.
