Everything was SO easy and convenient! There was free parking and we quickly signed in, got our bracelets, and hopped on our clean, sturdy raft. The scenery was gorgeous and at the end people helped us off the raft and a bus took us back to our car! A great activity to do with kids and priced very well! Such an awesome activity for a lazy float down the river.  It was my partner's birthday and we usually try and find fun outdoor water activities to spend the day relaxing with our little family--what a great idea Truckee River Rafting was!  #hesawaterloverWe came to Tahoe to spend a few days celebrating and had no serious plans besides enjoying life.  We grabbed a paddle boat the day before because we could bring our dog, so when we found the Truckee River Rafting the next day we were so down... #dogfriendlyWe packed a small cooler with essentials: IceJuiceApricotsPlumsStrawberriesWaterWe brought a couple towels and a change of clothes and wore our water shoes so we could jump in and out down the river.  Oh yeah, and sunscreen, lots of sunscreen ;)We saw tons of other dogs and kids flowing by, and every now and again there are little "beaches" or stops so that you could use the bathroom, walk and rest your dog, step off boat to dump excess water, etc.  When our puppy saw some other dogs jumping in the water chasing balls and sticks she decided, "I'm in!"  So, Zoe jumped off the raft and started chasing other dogs in the water--she had never swam before--I thought I'd lose my mind!  I yelled to my partner and he jumped in, but she was fine--like awesome, professional swimmer.  Wow--it was like when I sat her on my snowboard last year and she rode a bit (a tiny bit).  #sportsfreakminihuskyAnyway, back to how amazing TRR is...There are tons of other families and friends chilling down the river.  There are a few tricky spots where it takes absolute team work to make it through without issues, but really fun!They have many boats to choose from--quiet, noisy, bigger since we had our dog, all types of things.  One of the cooler things was the lady running the shop you enter to get to the river.  She asked me if I was bringing my army bag, I was like, "For sure, it has our necessities."  She gave me a plastic bag to wrap it and let me know where to put it in the boat and how to keep it dry.  #lifesaver #cellphonesaver I would recommend TRR to ANYONE looking for a cool family/friend activity.  *dog friendly*kid cool*adult happyThis place rocks!!!  Read Less
