sceptical after reading reviews but would like to share our overall very pleasant experiencennPrior to the holiday we had read a review which said to double check with the hotel if you have a balcony before travelling I would recommend doing this as we were informed we only had French doors and so were able to contact our travel agency beforehand and request a balcony On arrival to the hotel at 330am after a horrendous transfer that took 3 hours we found we didn’t have a balcony after all disappointing but reception sorted this quickly for us which was goodnnOverall we enjoyed the food at the hotel we found there was good variety Lots of different meats doner meatballs etc and all the basic stuff like chips and pizza available both at dinner times and at the snack bar at lunch times The A la Carte was also nice basic food but nice to get table service We found that staff spoke more than enough English to get by and we had no major communication issues a small goes a long waynnThe patisserie by the pool is really nice and so handy for ice cream and waffles throughout the day prepare to queue for waffles Yes you will get rude people who try and jump the queue but you just have to be firm and let them know there’s a queue We actually found this happens far less than people make out on these reviews Pool area is amazing couldn’t fault it You do need to get out early for good sunbeds though Night time entertainment is okay the Mongolian circus were fantastic We found the Turkish night entertainment and some of the dancing a little repetitive and tended to just go and chill either at the pool bar or on our balcony at night The entertainment team do organise trips to nightclubs in side if you fancy thatnnThe hotel shop is SO expensive Literally like 20 euros for a lilo Across the road from the hotel there are signs you should follow for a tiny local shop that we used several times Very friendly and so much cheaper nnA couple of negatives nownnOur maid service started off amazing nice shapes made on the bed with towels and flower petals etc By the end of the holiday I honestly don’t know what was going on but on our last day we never even got our towels changed despite us leaving them on the floor which is what it says to do It just got worse and worse as the days went on like they cared less DisappointingnnAlso we booked two excursions through our rep Hasan and I cannot stress enough how UNPROFESSIONAL he is Sitting telling us he was hungover etc at our meeting which okay we can have a laugh about it happens to us all But on our last day as we are waiting to get picked up for land of legends water park our transfer did not arrive We were so upset reception put Hasan on the phone to my boyfriend and he literally said “what do you want me to do about it” Can’t express how rude I found himnnWe also didn’t find one single alcoholic drink we enjoyed the whole week which was fine for us as we aren’t big drinkers anyway but the drinks really are so so so syrupy and sugary and my boyfriend said the beer tasted watery but I suppose with the prices you pay for all inclusive you can’t really complainnnBus service outside the hotel takes you
