Could not in good conscience recommend this company for a home loan. I was never sure who I should be contacting, those that I did have contact with did not keep me in the loop on decisions they were making for me. Poor customer communication. My loan amounts continually were changing, again, unbeknownst to me. On their own, they just added points after I requested no points. I would just receive a CD with no explanations. I had to ask who they weren't giving me options, just THEIR decisions. And the worse infraction was that I was belittled and reprimanded by one of their managers for asking for confirmation and commitment on their ability to meet my deadlines. Even my title company stated if this loan falls apart it will be the fault of RanLife. Bottom line, though, I did get my loan and they finally met my deadlines, but not without great stress and duress.  Read Less

We had a BAD experience with RANLife. Although the representative was an extremely NICE person and I could see how much effort he put into trying to help us, it's UNFORTUNATE that the people he works with (Namely, the underwriter) do not have an idea of what they're doing. We SPENT $1,000 and were committed to purchase a house only to find out 5 DAYS before CLOSING that the loan was NOT approved. This speaks of LACK of communication and skills within the company.  Read Less
